Nice and unbeatable location adjacent to Macclesfield town centre, the shopping district and the train station, and restaurant. Lovely bar area.

Very nice landlords. The breakfast was sumptuous, surprisingly comfortable breakfast room. Everything simple but down-to-earth and incredibly good value for money. Not far to the Peak-District National Park.
(The equipment is a bit outdated in some places, but it worked on the whole. In our case the bathroom door was slightly stuck. I informed the host and he wanted to take care of it immediately :-)

Enjoyed every detail about my very very good 1 night stay here. Great breakfast with toast and grapefruit and the staff were fantastic friendly and excellent co-operating. The location of the property was comfortable and incredible, close to the National Park.
The setting was really poor.

This was just a great fit for a fleeting pause in Macclesfield with best value for money ratio. The musty smell in the room hit us immediately, and we really didn't feel comfortable there. Avoid using the tea/coffee facilities unless you are feeling adventurous.

I enjoyed my stay, especially the delicious breakfast and the comfy bed that made waking up a treat! After a long day, I loved unwinding by the cozy fireplace and taking a peaceful stroll in the garden area. The parking was a bit tricky, but overall, I'd recommend this place for a chill getaway! 😊

Convenient location close to the town center. Breakfast was really good, with a variety of dishes that provided a strong start to the day. Despite its basic nature, the hotel offered a cozy and inviting atmosphere.
The parking situation is a headache. It's a tight squeeze in a small area and street parking can be a real challenge, especially for larger vehicles. Accessing rooms requires climbing steep stairs which could be an issue for anyone with mobility challenges. Rooms felt outdated, with old furniture and a lack of modern amenities like a proper shower setup. Guests are left with only a bath to deal with.

The room was really clean and comfy, and the breakfast was good enough to get me started for the day. The owners were super friendly and cute. It's in a decent location, not too far from the town center which was really handy. Loved the homely vibe of the place, felt cozy. Great for a budget place, totally worth it.
The decor was kinda outdated and parking was a bit of a hassle. No shower in my room, only a bath which was disappointing.

A Disappointing Stopover
I did enjoy a nice meal at a nearby restaurant, a small consolation. Future guests should verify check-in times directly with the hotel.
